Today I was looking back through some photos and came across this pic. This football was one of the footballs my best friend Warnie and I played with when we were young boys; and Carolyn, Warnie’s mom, gave it to me a long time ago. God took Warnie after one of our high school graduation parties and his loss was felt across many communities. Warnie was always popular and when we entered high school we drifted a little apart. That was ok, we had an unspoken friendship which is deep in my heart. I thought I would share this photo to symbolize what small things can mean in people’s lives.
