Warning! this may come off kind of mushy.
Yesterday, Lukie & I brought mommy lunch. Staska has been very busy, managing a group of attorneys that are helping people in this housing crisis, namely foreclosures. I am deeply proud of her, she is making this a better world. I do miss having lunch with Stash. When were dating we’d have lunch almost every other day downtown. Those lunches made my day; a timeout from everything to look in to her eyes and talk about us and vent about all the issues we were having with the world around us. It seemed like all we did is listen to each other, eat, kiss and go on about our day. That was all we need to refuel for the rest of the day. Now children, etc. has taken the place of the lunches, or has it. Not yesterday! … to be continued.
